August has been an exciting and inspiring month for the HEAL4ALL project, marked by the successful implementation of the 1st Student Learning Expedition in Joensuu, Finland, hosted by the University of Eastern Finland (UEF). Bringing together students and academics from the partner universities, the five-day programme combined lectures, collaborative group work, intercultural learning, community engagement and reflection, with a particular focus on existential wellbeing and healthy ageing. As part of the Learning Expedition, UEF also hosted the HEAL4ALL conference “Wellbeing, Spirituality and Participation in Later Life: Perspectives, Experiences and Encounters”, bringing together academic and professional perspectives on spirituality, wellbeing and participation in later life. This edition of our newsletter highlights the key moments, learning experiences and outcomes from an inspiring week of international collaboration in Joensuu.
